‘The sunny side up’ is such an ambitious project. As a consequence, it has motivated many teachers from very different countries to take part in it.

More than ten teachers from Cyprus, Slovenia, Latvia, Norway and Spain had a first meeting in Cyprus at the beginning of the school year. Their goal was to organize the activities to be accomplished by the 6th grade pupils to make solar panels mainly with reused materials.

This interesting meeting was undoubtedly productive. All the essential details related to this part of the project were deeply temporized and nowadays, students are carrying out their challenging tasks. Briefly, solar panels will be finished and they will be used to heat some water and, in the future, they will be part of a wonderful greenhouse at the school.
